With a wealth of experience and a warm, friendly approach, Dr. Miranda is committed to making every dental visit a positive and enjoyable experience for your child.
Dr. Miranda Kalaskey, DDS, is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. Her lifelong passion for children’s oral health fueled her journey to becoming a pediatric dentist. She loves working with kids and views each appointment as an opportunity to positively shape their perception of dental care. Dr. Miranda's goal is for every child to eagerly anticipate their dental visits and remain motivated about their oral hygiene once they return home.
As the eldest of six children, Dr. Miranda often acted as a second mother figure to her younger siblings, ensuring they brushed and flossed their teeth before bed. Even at a young age, she knew that pediatric dentistry was her calling. Today, her siblings still brag about their clean dental check-ups, all thanks to her early influence. Family time is incredibly important to Dr. Miranda; she cherishes the moments when her large family gathers for vacations and holidays.
Dr. Miranda was born and raised in West Virginia and pursued her Doctorate of Dental Surgery at West Virginia University School of Dentistry. Her academic journey continued in New York, where she completed a General Practice Residency (GPR) focusing on special needs and medically complex patients. This experience allowed her to develop advanced behavior management techniques crucial for treating patients with dental anxieties or concerns.
Dr. Miranda then moved to Greenville, NC, to complete a Pediatric Dental Residency at the East Carolina School of Dental Medicine. Here, she earned her certificate in Pediatric Dentistry, equipping her with the specialized skills necessary to provide top-notch dental care for children.

Although originally from West Virginia, Dr. Miranda has found a second home in North Carolina. Both states share beautiful landscapes, wonderful people, and exciting outdoor adventures, making her transition seamless. When she's not at the office, Dr. Miranda enjoys cooking, baking, and exploring new restaurants with her fiancé, Steven. She also loves learning new skills and continually seeks out opportunities for personal and professional growth.
